As you will no doubt be aware, the potential for further spread of the corona-virus within the UK is highly likely, if not inevitable.
As such I ask that if you currently have any of the symptoms associated with Corona-virus, or if you have recently returned from any of the areas detailed on the government website that you do not attend yoga classes. Please see links below:

I understand that it may be disappointing that you are not able to come to yoga class; however, I am only taking this action to ensure the well-being of those that attend the yoga classes. Also, if you are in isolation, I can provide 1:1 class via Skype or group classes via zoom. If we are all put in quarantine, I am thinking of creating private Facebook group with some live feeds, some mindful movement and relaxation / meditation techniques so please like the page to see updates.
In case of quarantine I will email in advance with cancellation notice, so please keep an eye on the email.
What you can do to lower the risk of spreading the virus in the yoga class:
- Bring your own mat
- Antibacterial wipes will be provided in the class if you wish to wipe the mat before using it.
- Bathrooms are equipped with soap and towels, please wash your hands before the class and after.
- I will avoid hands on adjustments – and I know I rarely do that anyway, but I will eliminate it for the time being.
- When you sneeze or cough, bin the tissue and wipe the hands.
What is also important to remember that being cautious and aware of spreading the disease and taking the personal responsibility for our actions is really crucial, however living in a fear is not a solution. And that’s a brilliant mindfulness practice on how to be aware of your feelings, emotions and thoughts but not being sucked into them and allow them to rule your life. I hope you will stay calm and healthy.
