What is yoga therapy?
Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and wellbeing through the application of the teachings and practises of yoga. The goals of yoga therapy include eliminating, reducing or managing the symptoms that cause suffering. (IAYT)
Why Yoga therapy?
1 in 8 children, between 14-19 has a mental health problem, according to anxious minds website. Traumatic experience can leave an imprint not only on the mind but also the body and the energy. Yoga therapy has got the potential to heal on all 3 levels.

Yoga Therapy is an ancient complementary therapy now recognised by the British Psychological Society. Yoga therapy adapts the tools of yoga (postures, breath, mantra, meditation, visualisation, relaxation practices) to help with a wide range of different conditions. Through a series of sessions, I build a customised practice just for the client, which helps to manage their condition. Examples of conditions: anxiety, depression, eating disorders, abandonment, emotional trauma and many others.
